You will need:
1tbsp of butter
50g of rolled oats
1tbsp of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of agave nectar
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground nutmeg
1/4 of an apple
Ice cream to serve (optional)
Put the butter into a microwavable-safe mug and microwave for 30 seconds, to melt the butter.
Stir in the oats, sugar and agave nectar (this can be found in health food shops, but you could use honey as a good alternative). Sprinkle in a generous pinch of cinnamon and ground nutmeg. Chop up a quarter of an apple into small chunks, to ensure that they soften in the microwave. Place the apple slices into the mug and mix well.
Microwave the mug cake for 2 minutes and spoon on vanilla ice cream to serve.
